I chose the resources I did because I thought they were all relevant to elementary education. I tried to find resources that discussed different content areas and student needs. I made individual boards for science, social studies, math, and literacy, so that teachers are able to go straight to the content area they are interested in learning about. I also created a board called “Educational Ideas” with articles and other resources about various topics. These topics include ways to accommodate different student needs in the classroom such as; students with ADHD, students with Autism, Gifted and Talented students, and ELL students. I am hoping that these topics will be helpful to teachers by allowing them to look at specific content areas and student characteristics they have in their classrooms. My Scoop.it Account
